Sultry Summer Supper

Updated: Jun 30, 2023

One of the things that gives us great joy is going into a thoughtfully remodeled kitchen (ours comes to mind....but I'm biased (but it is gorgeous and a chef's dream (no really! (pics here)))) and creating an opportunity to commune with friends and family over something beautiful, delicious and well planned. Here is a fantastically well curated menu for your summer enjoyment; invite us over and let us know what to bring!

Grab whatever fruit is at its peak this summer for this crowd-friendly recipe for White Sangria!

Grilling stone fruit like nectarines (peaches and plums also work) caramelizes and brings out the natural sweetness of the fruit. Tangy goat cheese and fresh basil are perfect accompaniments on crusty crostini.

Flank steak is one of the best types of steak for grilling because it’s full of beefy flavor and doesn’t take too much time to cook. But it’s a good idea to use a marinade, even one as simple as garlic, salt and olive oil like in this recipe. Serve with a vibrant corn relish that pops with poblano peppers.

Lemon and blueberry flavor is always popular during the spring and summer time. Though, it tastes even better when you put it in the Bundt cake! It is scrumptious, moist, and dense cake topped with an amazing lemon icing.
